Welcome to Sri lanka's first established and leading dive centre.
Poseidon is a PADI five star scuba diving centre and has been providing PADI courses and diving since 1973.
Our main dive centre is situated in Hikkaduwa marine sanctuary on the southwest coast and runs from November until April. From May to October we dive in Nilaveli, Trincomalee on the northeast coast.
The dive team includes 3 PADI instructors and 4 divemasters who work together to provide all courses from discover diving experiences to assistant instructor. We can provide PADI course materials in:
For divers we have 2-3 diving trips each day to the many local shipwrecks, reef and rock formations, guided by local divemasters with many years of experience.
The dive centre has it's own hotel and restaurant on the beach for divers and non-divers.
Since the Tsunami we have worked with Plongeurs Du Monde and Green Hope to help local children. Using diving and beach activities to overcome their fear and discover the wonders and fun that can be had with the sea.
