Divemaster The PADI Divemaster programme is the first step of the PADI professional training. As a divemaster you will be able to: 1.Act as a certified instructional assistant to PADI instructors 2.Supervise participants in PADI experience programmes for uncertified 3.Generally supervise both training and nontraining diving activities by planning, organising and directing dives 4.Teach and certify PADI skin divers 5.Conduct the PADI scuba review programme for certified divers 6.Conduct the skin diving skills segment of the PADI Open Water Diver Course, confined water diver 4 under direction of PADI instructor 7.Enroll in PADI instructor level training. To become a PADI divemaster you need to: 1. Have Advanced Open Water Diver and Rescue Diver 2. Have logged a minimum of 20 open water dives to begin and over 60 logged dives including deep and navigation before the certification. 3. Be at least 18 years old 4. Be in good physical condition 5. Have current training in CPR and FIrst Aid You will complete three phases in the programme. 1. Watermanship and skills assessment 2. Knowledge development 3.
